I managed to piss off a wasp's nest last year whilst tidying up some of the woods. Apparently a few of them took a great dislike to my chainsaw, rather than me personally. It probably sounded like it was insulting their Queen, or calling their larvae a vile ugly little snark mob or something.
I react worse to wasps and hornets than I do to black widows and scorpions. I keep a can of that 20 foot spray handy pretty much all summer. Fuck those guys.
