  1. Querty, just an fyi that when you post stories, in the field labeled, "Your Name" you might want to type your user name instead of your e-mail. I've been changing it, but just an fyi. I'd hate for the Mod Squad not to catch it and your e-mail accidentally go out to the world.

Also, that may be what is hanging your posts up in moderation, also too.

Now back to our regular programming…

    1. Thanks, The Intense Debate login is different than the usual (already a QWERTY42 out there … somewhere). 'preciate y'all putting up with this.

      1. No worries. And actually, the "Submit a Link" box up in the corner isn't connected to Intense Debate at all, so essentially you can type in whatever you want and it will accept it. For example Zippy and Blue often put in shorter versions of their screen names.

I think the reason yours get suspended is possibly because the name you entered in the name field was in e-mail address format. Just a guess.

  2. Speaking of regular programming, on my sportzbawl fantasy page for the Ebola Jihadis of the beloved Wonkville Nice Muslim Football League, there is a clickie to "pay league dues". Do I doo wah ditty ditty doo need to pay league dues? Not a prob if legit. So much to learn and so little time.

    ♪ Louie, Louie, you gotta go now ♪ A – D – Em – D on endless do-loop

    1. You kept my team name! You're having the players all wear burqas, still, too?

There are no dues. Although I believe it's a no-host bar. Someone in the league can correct me if that's wrong.

        1. For sure. "Hey, Fantasy Football participant, you seem like someone who might be vulnerable to a gambling addiction. Want to try Draft Kings, and also this meth?"

  3. Oh, the classic (I know I have a copy somewhere, but had to buy a replacement because it is probably in some box with the principles of operation — what does weight and heat do to old manuals and books?). But things have moved on to c++. Of course, the old line "I don't know what the programming language of the future will look like, but I know it will be called Fortran" still seems to work … saw some modern Ftn code and *nothing* like the old. But really, it's scripting now. Shell scripts, Perl or Python. Powershell is a shell, but better control structure. At least in my part of the IT multiverse.
