As a producer of Project Greenlight, Damon must have approved of the inclusion of this exchange. I’d like to think that he decided to include it because showing himself being so incredibly wrong could be a lesson for other filmmakers. But the cynical side of me thinks it was included because he felt he had made his point well and wanted the world to hear it.
I'd say "time will tell," but Hollywood has heard us complain about the lack of diversity for DECADES now and has done fuck-all to correct the problem, so fuck him.
Dear Close, would you be willing to be a second owner of the Ebola Jihadis? I'm catching a red-eye next Monday to take to Miami and then on to Columbia. I won't be back until noonish on the 28th (after another red-eye from Bogota-Dallas).
Sure. The only things I'd do is check it now before a game and switch out players if the software says I need to, without the deep dive analysis that someone else who actually knows about football would do. So as long as that's OK.
