I really only posted this so I could use this cool picture from the NYT magazine about Nigeria. But it is astonishing that one practical and reasonably inexpensive recommendation from the 9/11 commission—that the DMV not be in charge of determining whether Mohammed Atta can get on airplanes—has not been implemented a mere 10 years later.
