The Trader Joe's that recently opened here sometimes runs raffles you can enter if you bring your own bag, not that I've ever won. Today the checkout lady held up my Wonkette tote and looked at the kitten with a whip. Then she discreetly said nothing, but I didn't get invited to enter a raffle.
It feels like my area has been making them more prevalent instead of less for some reason.
