News most of you know by now. Congrats, Canadians for kicking the GWB of the North and his party's destructive politics to the curb. A new day, and none too soon.
There's a whole lot of Environment Canada scientists who will be breathing free now and I hope that one of Trudeau's first acts is to repeal the Gag Rule on speaking about AGW.

"…where we went wrong was on tone.” Yes, just like this country, Conservatism cannot fail, it can only be failed. That's the lesson they're taking away from this bloodbath. If only the advertising was better, the public will buy our poisonous product.

With the 'red tide' streaming across from the Atlantic I started getting worried – especially when NDP 'faces' started losing their seats… but she came out well (as leader of the Greens).
BTW Good showing in surrounding beachead ridings, and up into Vancouver Island, with Green candidates getting 14-20% of the vote, but only Nanaimo-Ladysmith close, with a 4-way contest… even then the NDP pulled away.
I think that's a good result, given the Anyone-But-Harper tactical voting going on.
BTW Two Conservative seats lost to the NDP out in the Kootenays/Rockies. One by a couple of hundred votes. BC definitely helped shore up the NDP seat count because it was looking truly horrible before that!
