    1. Blair agreed to be W's little brother and yes man, as long as they all played it that he was an equal leader so he could get a bump on his domestic numbers. The worst part for him now, apart from being found out as a liar and warmonger, is having his true role as Bush ass kisser exposed.

      1. Unfortunately, this snivelling little godbotherer actually believed he was doing The Lord's Work.

The imaginary voices in his head told him so.

The real outrage should be how the fuck he got himself a cushy gig as a Middle East envoy after bailing out of the UK government before the economy went shit-shaped.

Why this lying shitweasel wasn't lynched and/or bodyparts found strewn across the desert, I'll never understand.

        1. same reason why I can't explain why that fate hasn't befallen W- apparently there are a shitload of stupid people out there

        2. I agree. I thought, like most people, that Blair would do whatever the focus groups said. British involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq was not well received, so he had to be a true believer. I have no idea why.
That he's saying this now presumably means the Chilcot report will finally be published sometime soon.

  1. So you read this and at first you think, "Bullshit, you hired the people who gave you the wrong intelligence, so it's on you either way."

Then you realize that Blair, like W, is merely a loyal servant of the War Oligarchs (UK Division) who will conjure up whatever phony "evidence" they need to justify the continuous war they feed on.

"The decision was above my paygrade" is essentially what Blair and W were saying, and they were/are telling the truth.

  2. A lawyer, advised by lawyers, married to a lawyer, is not likely to issue a crowd-pleasing, unambiguous apology for a fender-bender – much less for actions tantamount to war crimes; but he does flinch and twitch in a fairly satisfying way when he's asked.
