On The Media is always worth listening to and this recap and update to the Patriot Act Follies is great. And depressing. From Ashcroft's shenanigans to Handsome Joe Biden saying the Act was something he had come up with there are few heroes and a lot of embarrassing moves by people who should have known better.
Since the well-funded ISIS will be plaguing the world for a generation we should remember how our reaction to 9/11 caused their rise, the Patriot Act did little to help matters, and we'll surely lose some more of our freedoms as well as lives and trillions in the decades to come.
