      Okay, technically, Porter was not a foreign demagogic authoritarian leader. He was, rather, a gay son of the wealthiest family in Peru, Indiana, remittanced to Europe where he palled around with Scott and Ernest and the gang. But man did he write some great tunes. E.g.:
