"The DNC maintains the master list and rents it to national and state campaigns, which then add their own, proprietary information gathered by field workers and volunteers."
They rent it? I thought the Democratic Party stood for collectivism. This explains recent Dem electoral successes, Hopey notwithstanding. The Dems are like the Cleveland Cavaliers: they always win, if they have LeBron.
This whole thing stinks to high heavens and has DWS' fingerprints all over it. Whatever one thinks of Hillary, she's not nearly this incompetent to be involved with anything this amateur (this "scandal" makes the DNC look bad and makes her look bad, along with doing damage to Sanders), nor does she need to pull this nonsense at this point. This is far more in keeping with Debbie's typical fuckups- hire an incompetent IT firm (probably based on some insider kickbacks), when they screw up (this has apparently been a problem for awhile now) try to spin it to help her BFF Hillary to suck up and gain favors for her own career aspirations. Unfortunately, however this plays out, it'll bite the eventual candidate in the general election- whether it's the GOP talking point Bernie breaks into confidential files because he's a cheater or more of the Clinton machine doing its thing. BTW, anyone remember that there's a Dem debate tomorrow night? Me neither, good job Debbie…
He was one of my favorites back when I was on the main board. The ad situation seems a little better lately (by that I mean it doesn't completely make me incapable of looking at the site without my browser freezing) so maybe I should go back.
I don't like subscriptions (it's a religious thing), so I'm intending to keep on rocking the adblock plus, hitting the occasional unblocked linky and chucking regular donations Wonkette's way.
Also, if it ain't broke don't mend it…. but I might ask how the ad-free beta gets on.

And the DW-S/J-JB photo comparison is terrfic!
And just like LeBron, a ton of people randomly hate them!

I've not been inclined to jump on the hatewagon over DWS, but you may be on to something here.
PS: I was going to skip the debate, but after this story, I am intrigued and will definitely tune in now!
|Here ya go|. |And this, too|. Also, the founder of NGP VAN, Nathaniel Pearlman, was chief technology officer for Hillz' '08 campaign.
Jesus, this is blowing up on the cable news. WTG, DNC
|May be due to high levels of CO2 in her office|
I was thinking N2O
Seriously, how is this dickhead still in charge over there?
