I have to run out, I had problems posting this for some reason, so if two more versions of this story appear, if any mods around would delete them, I'd greatly appreciate it.
See, I would not find this useful because turning off the video — aka the sound — will wake me up (not just me — sudden silence after steady noise wakes most people as well as an alarm clock). What I need is for the socks to just mark the point in the video where I fell asleep, keep letting the video play, and then let me go back to the marked point when I wake up.
Also they need to work on the trigger since it's based on a motion sensor. It stops Netflix if it senses you haven't moved in a while, which could be problematic for people who kick in their sleep.

Just this one post on the W'ville FP and nothing in the queue, so I think you're OK.
That's so odd. This happened once before – it accepted my post but then disappeared, rinse, repeat.
So Sacco had pinot envy?
Waiting for the ones that open a beer, then go down on you, then shut the tv off..
I'm holding out for Necropants.

With my luck, after I'd fall asleep the socks would totally take advantage and watch shoe commercials or knitting videos all night long.
So then: girl socks.
"Tonight on the Lifetime knitting and shoe fashion channel…"
*blinks* "NOOOOOOOO"

Good point! I'm pretty sure my feet will still be twitching three weeks after I die.
