Hey since you're Mr. Corrosion and a guitar picker……[ and anyone else that wants to opine ]……….Some people say that corrosion on the pole thingees of a pick-up is harmless and may even be beneficial to the sound.

Corrosion of the poles and/or the pup case is harmless. However, have seen corrosion of the copper wire, and you can loose a lot of gas with that. Only real fix for that is rewinding the coil.
Looks like he could take more than a few bullets.
