London is revolting – especially in Summer.
Ugly, sticky, smelly. Ugh.
Even with the 'congestion charge' in Central London, traffic is abysmal – in fact, after the first year or so where traffic did thin out a little – it's pretty much turned into just another revenue generator for the Capital… another cost of doing business or working there.
Perhaps I'm especially sensitive to it, as I flit back and forth to the lovely clean air out in the Salish Sea, up in the Pacific Northwest.
Can't wait to GTFO permanently.
When the fuck did this happen? When I visited London last (mind you, this was years ago) I remember lots of fog but not pollution like this FFS…
