Wyoming has been fielding an increasingly thin crop of Democratic candidates for federal office in recent years. The only Democratic candidate for U.S. House in 2014 was an Arizona resident who campaigned little if at all in the state.
Surely there must be some businessperson/entertainer/anyone at all who could use some publicity? Dafuq?
Wyoming has no state income tax. Guess which kind of voter finds Jackson (which is a very nice place) to be a desirable location for their "principal residence."
You can't say she wouldn't represent Wyoming well, though.
