And for more national polling insanity, Reuters shows both a tie and a Clinton lead at the same time!

  1. Registered Voters: Clinton 44.6, Sanders 43.1
Likely Voters: Clinton 62.0, Sanders 34.0

    Wow.

Edit: They have Sanders leading among women and Clinton leading among men in Registered voters. ????????????????

      1. Canada managed an entire general election in 11 weeks. And even then people were getting pissed off.

Now the UK has set lengths of fixed-term parliaments, it'll be interesting to see if the process becomes drawn out, like in the US. Before the last term, the government could call a 'snap' election any time they wanted (or wait up to five years). A general election can still be called if a (minority) government doesn't survive a vote of no confidence, or some other mechanism.
I like a good poll as much as the next person, but I fear a rigid election cycle with dates set in stone might have the same result over this side of the Atlantic.
