Even if the Rams Didn’t Leave, the Citizens Would Still Have to Pay For This Ugly Thing

  1. It's great to see LA has a NFL team after 20+ years. You would think Cleveland deserves a professional football team as well.

  2. I'm so thrilled that Los Angeles will be hosting this team now. And by so thrilled, I mean aggravated beyond belief FFS…

  3. Well, maybe the Raiders will move in, in a year or two… if they don't move down to San Diego in this clusterfuck of a merry-go-round.

Either way, I'm sure the NFL will find another way to bully municipalities into stumping up hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars, now that the Great Los Angeles Boogeyman has finally been put to rest.

    1. St Louis: First in shoes, first in booze, and last in the American League!

Shoes: Brown Shoe Co., International Shoe Co. When I lived there you'd see help-wanted ads in the paper for foot models.
Booze: Annhauser Busch, or as they call it in Missouri, "the Brewery"
AL: a team now masquerading as something called the "Baltimore Orioles" was the St Louis Browns until 1954.
