  1. I get "arrogant," "entitled" and "annoying." The "indispensable" part is not self-evident, unless you think your life would be incomplete without Twitter or Instagram, whatever that is.

But seriously, dude, if you don't like to be around homeless people or people of color or people who don't have at least as much disposable income as you do, move to the suburbs. That's what they're there for.

      1. Since I have no interest in whatever random thoughts Gwyneth Paltrow—or for that matter, Barack Obama—may have, I don't assume they'd have any interest in mine.

  2. The wealthy working people have earned their right to live in the city. They went out, got an education, work hard, and earned it. I shouldn’t have to worry about being accosted. I shouldn’t have to see the pain, struggle, and despair of homeless people to and from my way to work every day.

And these assholes are starting to migrate down to Los Angeles. Happy fucking day…

    /FFS

  3. And what part of that glorious triumph was found slap-worthy?

All right, aside from the monkey-thing licking some dude-bro's face.

  4. I was at dinner with my friends down in SF, a couple of weeks before the superbowl, and the other guests said they'd closed the Embarcadero – down by the Farmers Market I think – and cordoned it off. Is that the section that was "cleansed" or was it more a citywide job for that weekend?

TBH Vancouver did the same thing with the downtown Eastside (Van's version of Tenderloin) for the Winter Olympics.
