  1. At one point, Cotton and Apple's Cook fiercely debated cell phone encryption, a source familiar with the exchange told HuffPost. "Cotton was pretty harsh on Cook," the source said, and "everyone was a little uncomfortable about how hostile Cotton was."

10 Ameros says the word "faggot" was used at least once.

  2. Sorry, but I don't hate Cook, Page or Musk. And, you know, they're conspiring to dumpf Drumpf, which is almost like civic engagement.

    1. Yeah, I'm okay w/those guys too, although to the extent they participated in this attempt to subvert a small part of the democratic process, less so. Hyperbole is the lingua franca of the Web.

  3. Yeahhh…

Spend decades building up a secure voting bloc by building up a reflexive hatred of government and intellectual elites with relentless propaganda that encourages the wildest of paranoid conspiracy theories. Then, when the inevitable anti government, anti intellectual strongman erupts, convene a secret conspiratorial meeting of governmental and intellectual elites to try and stop him.

Let me know how that works out for ya.

  4. Sources familiar with the meeting — who requested anonymity because the forum is off the record — said that much of the conversation around Trump centered on "how this happened, rather than how are we going to stop him," as one person put it.

Well, it sounds like they've got a winning plan then!

    /FFS

  5. "Everybody you hate…"

Um, I don't see my asshole of a brother's name on there anywhere, and I hate that fucking piece of shit.
