People keep struggling to invent reasons why self-driving cars won't take over, the same way they keep re-defining "intelligence" to move it beyond the things computers keep learning to do. Again, as former Bogotá mayor Enrique Penalosa put it:

In my day, we didn't have these fancy self-driving cars. We had to wreck them all by hand.
