It is also, too, my wedding anniversary (11th). Which has nothing to do with Global Warming, as far as you know. But it's a handy way of remembering the date, even though I still failed this year to buy my husband anything because I'm lame and can't think of anything he needs. Which means, I think, that we are lucky.
