The idea that the Pacific Ocean might be dead in 15 years seems like it ought to attract people's attention, and there's nothing like "charismatic megafauna," as the NEPA people call them, to draw it.
Raw sewage dumped in waterways is astonishingly common still.
Speaking of Norovirus ships, I did a one-day trip to Juneau yesterday for a retirement luncheon for a good friend who just ended 40 years with the DOT. Afterwards we went to the Twisted Fish for an [ Alaskan Brewing Co. ] sponsored party to celebrate the end of locals going downtown. The first cruise ship arrives today, and you won't catch locals downtown again until the fall. Since my buddy was one of the original investors that got them started, we two oldes had some nice chatting with Geoff Larson the founder. Guess what, it's a successful biz that loves its employees and shares the success with them. Imagine, such heresy!
"Following its stomach." It's probably no coincidence that it left before the Norovirus ship gets here.
Maybe trying to find someplace to [breathe.] But it would be good news if the Bay were getting cleaner.
They breathe air, you know. The fish they eat don't though and that could be a problem…
The WQ in the Bay are a| bit of a mixed bag, | but some of the trends are good.
Yeah I knew that, or forgot it, or never knew it.

OK, who left the princess chained to the rock again?
