On the plus side the weather lately seems to be good for VHF DXing. Saturday night on Kent Island I was getting a clear signal from the weatherbot in Lewes, DE, at the mouth of That Other Bay.

Baseball sized hail (!) in the D.C. area, golf to tennis ball sized hail in SW Baltimore, BWI airport area. This doesn't happen here.
The storm cells are huge, black anvils towering up to 50,000 feet, very visible from where I am. It's hairy.
