  1. Sure, that's a bit harsh. But with all the occupational training, conjugal visits, and social rehabilitation counseling these convicts get, we can be sure they'll return to society as well-adjusted, productive, caring human beings.

    And you know, these freeloaders in the military are getting meals, lodging and foreign travel along with all that excellent marksmanship training. Maybe we should hand them a bill when their enlistments are up.

  2. The newly released may also be hit with past-due child support payments as well. In addition they may no longer be available for food stamps or housing benefits. That's not 'gettin' tuff on crime', it's setting up the person to return to prison.
