Most Horrific Dissection I ever saw was during my brief sea beastie rescue gig, with a long dead loggerhead washed up on the beach. The smell was indescribable. Even the Veterinarian chundered.

Saw a vet slice open a horse that he diagnosed as having died of colic. Not a good time.
