Totally forgot it was Practice Day for the Naval Academy Grad ceremonies today – the Blue Angles working their aerial routines overhead. Had the truck windows open, because it was finally not raining so I heard them first. That Fucking The Severn River Bridge was a total parking lot full of gawkers and there were so many boats anchored out that the river looked like Cocktail Cove. I was creeping slow right in the middle of the bridge span when the flight of four planes bellowed overhead, right on the deck. The sound was indescribable. They pulled up to join up with the 5th and swung back towards Annapolis, laying out smoke. Fun times. Perfect weather.
