Notice to glasspusher: My dad's surgery went fine, but they want someone to be there with him just in case for the first week. Sadly, that clashes with any plans this weekend. That meeting sounded fun but it doesn't look like I'll be able to do it, sorry!
I didn't mention the surgery before then because I didn't think there was much chance for any problems. I was planning to mention it today whether there was an offer or not, but didn't want too many people to worry about something that had a pretty low chance of serious problems!
