I had something meta to add about trusting your co-wonks to not need that note………but had an evening of food, beer, wine and tequila with pretty hard-core librarians……….so thinking is even fuzzier than average. I LOL'ed at "Occupation: French Journalist." But gallows humor, fer sure. As a female, I can't forget to be thankful to not have been born in that backward, restrictive society. (We have enough problems in our own Western backwards, restrictive society.)

Just was remotely involved in a discussion of whether someone who had bombed a 1st test, B'd the second and aced [like 100] the final, so the arithmetic average was very high C, but improvement and final mastery of the content leaned B. [ and they appealed] If the student just fucked-up from beginning to end, there's no argument, if there's improvement………maybe a case. But would not think ill if flunking was the final decision.
