The Trib I delivered (and no I didn't deliver the one in the pic, although my older brother, who also had had a route, showed me the headline announcing the launch of Sputnik in October 1957) had a viciously right-wing editorial page but also was a serious newspaper with correspondents in many cities and, of course, a "Womens' Page"
This is cringe-inducing-ly lame and embarrassing branding. It will not go well. Investors will not be impressed, readers will not feel confident in the quality of the reporting, whatever good journalists that are left will plan their exits. I would be embarrassed to be a reporter for any paper under this masthead. It sucks all the gravitas out of what was once a noble and important profession, and that should still be. *cringe* *sigh*

Lower-case t, please. It's "novel" that way, so the Youngs will make it "go viral," as they say.
