When I was a kid, we used to go to Fla about once every 3 years or so with the family, not really for the theme parks, but more for the beaches and the interesting nature in the state parks. In any event, my mother was always terrified of us getting at all close to any non-ocean water, in case gators be lurkin'. We laughed at her. But she was right after all.
