OT: ZOMG, just saw a tweet from a journalist covering Trump who says Trump just told the high-level supporters backstage in AZ that his campaign thinks they are "competitive" in CA, NJ, CT, PA & MD. Which, on the one hand, is hilariously delusional, but OTOH means that most of us here in Wonkville are apparently now living in the states where all the Trump ads are gonna be on tv before his historic loss.
Among other virtues of rail travel, one can enjoy the longest stretch of straight track ("tangent" in civil engineering parlance): 478-kilometre (297 mi) stretch of the Trans-Australian Railway over the Nullarbor Plain.
Same. I also somehow stumbled into being related to or friends with so many people who are soooo into boating, and I always have to say, "Sure, as long as I can always be above deck and the shore is visible, or you don't mind me ralphing the entire time."
