Holy shit. I'm not really qualified to judge, being I don't give a rat's ass about popular culture (although I respond quickly to threats to make me watch Frozen), but it appears paranoia plays an important part in Governor Pence's daily life.
In Pence's defense (an expression I'll probably never use again) he did utter this nonsense while he was a right-wing radio jock. Conspiracy theories generate calls and, I guess, attract listeners.
