Water temp at mid bay buoy | Station 44062 – Gooses Reef | is currently 84.4 °F. The | Thomas Point light station | just outside of Annapolis has a water temp of 82.9 °F. Those are deep water stations, the back bays and creeks are hotter. The website that monitors Maryland's network of WQ buoy stations is currently down, but I do have this: | NOAA-18 sat Sea Surface Temperature graphic | courtesy Rutgers. Not cooling off much at all, near the water. Expecting blue-green algae, red and mahogany tide diatom blooms and bird deaths from C. botulinum bacteria cooking off in marsh salt pans. Oh, an some heat stroke deaths too. Bloody weather. Fuck you, Inhofe. Reply
Thanks for the offer, but I'd have to cross the Midwest to do it. From the looks of the predictive maps, I doubt I'd survive. Reply
