Man, in a batch of real barn-burning speeches this convention had, Joe's was one of the barn-burningest. What a valedictory that was.
* He got that entire unruly audience to be perfectly silent.
* Nobody, but nobody interrupted him. Much less had the gall to boo.
* Joe made us cry, then he rocked the house
* He just hit on everything I think it means to be a good citizen, and a good American. And he let us *own* it.
* I feel like we may just pull this off in November, now.
* Thanks, Joe. The man's a national treasure.

[I gotta admit though, the cynic in me still comes to the surface when the We're the Best comes out…………..I've heard it too many times in a variety of contexts and only rarely does it make me feel good. ]
Any one of tonight's speakers could beat Donald with one hand tied behind their backs.
Edit: clarify: I get way too tired of our seemingly endless political cycles, and I don't tune in to the real stuff often, but damn, tonight was something to watch.
