There's a large population of vultures in the big trees at the nearby saddle club. They spend a lot of time circling the field behind my house, looking for leftovers.
We have a large squadron of vultures on the farm and they're awesome at disposing of duck remains after processing day and any animal that has an unfortunate end, i.e., the 2-week-old piglet that died of who knows what, the little turkey that got mashed when we were moving the hut it lived in, etc.
Our oldest Great Pyrenees died a while back but we honored him with burial instead.
I hope y'all don't already have plans for tomorrow.
