I can't think of a better example to to summarize her entire campaign- flies to the wrong city because she can't even keep them straight, only has 100 people waiting to hear her speak anyways, offers to buy them pizza while they wait to hear her promise them free student loans to buy their votes. The only thing that could make this better is if the pizzas were gluten free…
I saw a legitimate Jill Stein commercial on a major network the other day. It bashed Hillary Clinton far more than Donald Trump. She's like most of the US Green Party, actually. Totally willing to get far-right Republicans elected if it means they can scream about purity. Very few attempts at lower-ticket races where third parties should normally start.
Interestingly, here in AZ the Greens are pretty strong locally and do in fact run for local offices. They seem to be trying to do it the right way. They aren't necessarily winning many races, but at least they're trying to build a from the ground up/grassroots party. They also don't seem to have much of anything to do with Stein.
That's nice to hear, because I wouldn't mind seeing a third party actually do well. My state's Green Party, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have it together. They have a Presidential candidate, Senate candidate, 1 candidate in 16 US House races, 1 candidate in 99 Ohio House races, and 1 county prosecutor candidate in a state with 88 counties. That's literally it.
