I haven't been watching the weather stuff for the past several days, I've had a project that I need to get finished and haven't read much else, so I am confused about Hermine, I see a lot of alarmist articles online but nothing on the radio when I was driving, so maybe that explains it – that I'm seeing two-day-old articles and it has moved on.
Well, it's a somewhat threat, as in some gusty (30-40 mph winds, maybe higher near Cape Cod) and a smaller coastal flooding risk, but nowhere near what it looked like before. Not to permanently reshaping the coastline levels, at least. They're probably going to put out a new advisory in the next 15 minutes so you can find some details here: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

No worries – yet – b/c Hermine's | passed south of me and is staying far offshore now. | The Atlanta coast is being walloped now, even though shes' been "downgraded" to a Tropical Storm this is still a very big system with a lot of energy and days of onshore winds driving the waves. He's right about the coast being reshaped, though and I'm thankful that I don't live in the "high energy zone' anymore.
The onshore winds have caught me a break, though, because there's a blowout tide out here on the peninsula., There's |widespread coastal flooding predicted for the Western Shore, | and I bet Norfolk will be mostly submerged yet again.
Today was one of the prettiest days of the whole summer. All my windows are open, and it's dead flat calm now. Yay.
