  1. He claims the audience in the hall couldn't hear him, although several journos who were present said they heard him fine. What's bugging him, I'll bet, is that his zingers didn't get the roars of approval they did in the primary debates. The crowd only made noise a few times, but they weren't supposed to say anything or applaud or cheer at all during the debates.
