  1. I went to the salon today, and in lieu of reading a trashy fashion magazine, I read the whole trashy NYT "lifestyles of the rich and famous" thing about Ty-fanny and her siblings. It left me sad. The writer was mostly non-committal about the sort of parent Daddy Drumpf was, but reading between the lines, it seems like the kids revolve their lives around their narcissistic twat of a father in the constant hope of winning his affections. Plus, I can't help but wonder if Tiffy was intentionally kept separate from too much interaction with Pops because of his creepy tendency towards inappropriateness with his first daughter. Ick.

    1. Trump seems like the kind of rich parent who would threaten to disinherit any offspring who crossed him.

So they're hanging around for the big stepped-up-basis payday* when the bacon-cheesburger diet takes him out, maybe.

*Another glorious feature of our tax code: heirs inherit everything without ever having to pay the capital gains earned up to the date of the decedent's departure. So if Trump built a hotel 20 years ago for $50M and it's now worth $100M, the heir receives it with a $100M basis. Sweet!
