    1. Did you have Brady as a bench warmer on your fantasy team? He's going to win all of the points for the remainder of the season.

My fantasy team is borked, but I will console myself with Pats steamrollering their way forward with the power of angry Brady.

      1. Yeah, I picked up Brady mid-rounds when nobody else would. I'm not disappointed so far. I'm loving my fantasy team this year.

I take it you're a Pats fan then?

        1. Yes. I keep it on the down-low because I know everybody else hates them. Plus, Brady is a friend of Trump's, which is truly embarrassing.

    1. Cubs aren't playing, Red Sox/Indians may be rained out, so…I don't know how to advise you on this.

Edit- yep, Sox/Cleveland rained out, play tomorrow 6PM Fenway Time

    2. Kick-off is 5:30 (Mysterious Standard Time. You do the math.) The debate starts at 6 and should end at 7:30. You should be able to watch the first quarter or so and then catch the second half. Or you could just say screw it and watch reruns of Blue Bloods, starring 1980s hunk Tom Selleck and Marky Mark's brother.

    3. You could watch the debate and sign up for a free trial of NFL game pass (just remember to cancel, unless you want it!) and watch the game afterward. You can put it on 'no spoiler' mode, so you don't get the final score when you log in.

      1. You just reminded me I could easily just record the game and watch it after even without game pass so thanks for that!

    4. At my debate watch party, they'll have both on, with the game on mute. But I'll be concentrating on the real throwdown!

  1. Hope you kids are having fun: I'm stuck at work (so that I will be free to watch the third debate, assuming Cheeto does not duck out of it) and then I have a debate watch party to help with. Enjoy!

  2. Watching Chargers at Raiders now and seeing all the crazy Raiders fans in the stands. Come on, NFL, don't move this team to fucking Vegas, ffs.

  3. I wish I had been around to liveblog more if those last two days but I was in a pretty shitty mood and didn't feel like it. The Trump meltdown yesterday helped so I just kind of enjoyed that a bit too much.
