    1. I've had a lot of days like this. Just switch off for an hour or two, that'll help you ride it out.

      I'm thinking it's not the Rooskies or Angry Wikileakers (or even Assange's buddies trying desperately to stay relevant), it's probably the usual e-Vandal assholes doing it for the lulz.

Brian Krebs, an independent security researcher, observed earlier this month that the “source code” to the Mirai botnet had been released by a hacker group, “virtually guaranteeing that the internet will soon be flooded with attacks from many new botnets powered by insecure routers, IP cameras, digital video recorders and other easily hackable devices”.

  1. I thought the entire point of WikiLeaks was to at least present a front as a neutral publisher of information, leaving them plausible deniability as the Provisional IRA Anonymous does the dirty work. This is a good way for WikiLeaks to lose whatever remaining goodwill they have left to them.
