Fucking great game. Was watching from halfway up the stairs and stayed there for luck for you and my BFF from high school. Amazing. Minimum of 27 Dodger batters in a playoff game for the first time since Don Larsen's perfect game in 1958.
It is going to be a tough world series either way. Very good managers with good personnel, somebody's drought is going to be broken. I'd like to see the Cubs win it, but if Cleveland does, they will have earned it and deserve it. Last time they were in the WS, 1997, they should have won if Hargrove knew how to manage pitchers. I was in grad school there for that series.
I Have Seen The Promised Land for my club, and I know when to pull the trigger. Didn't move from my lucky seat on the stairs all game. You think this just "happened"?
You really gotta pace yourself during these playoff games or you'll burn yourself out. I recommend not going to "rocking back and forth in the fetal position" until at least the 2nd inning.
