Holy shit! I never realized that was the same day and that the Perfect Storm was the reason it snowed and snowed in MN. It makes my story of trudging through snow pale in comparison. My 1984 Plymouth Champ hatchback stalled and my friend and I had to walk almost half a mile to his house and call my dad to pick me up in his Chevy Blazer (The Mighty Blaze, he called it.).
Aw, man, I'm thinking we had a 3 or 4 day storm right after halloween in Cleveland, 1996, Cleveland Heights got about 2 feet, Geauga county got 3+, so many trees down. A block away from me the power was out for a week. I remember walking through the drifts to go to CWRU on Monday and when I got out there was another 8 inches or so. Good times. Not quite as good as that one.
