Right about this, though:
Craftsmanship in government is not like craftsmanship in business. You can’t win people with money and you can’t order people around. Governance requires enormous patience, a capacity to tolerate boredom and the skill of quiet herding.
Trump wants a dictatorship. He is ill-suited for governance, at least our bureaucratic version of it. Really, he'd hate it, abandon ship, and leave his doughboy Pense to handle it all.
Brooks actually makes sense in this column, at least in the parts I could stand to read. He's trying to find a way for GOPer types to feel okay about voting for Hillary. Trouble is, the businessmen who want Trump's tax breaks can't be persuaded to vote for their country ahead of their economic self interest.
And I'm guessing the RWNJ jihadis probably don't read the NYT op-ed page as often as they should.

On tonight's Newshour he said he couldn't say who he was voting for but said how awful the one candidate, 'he', was.
