me: "I guess we're all supposed to start wearing safety pins on our clothes."
smokey: "I was wearing those when I was 15."
I was wearing them at < 1
Countdown to the "Keep America Safe" bill, outlawing the wearing of "dangerous objects that can be used as weapons".
For sure if you're trying to board a plane.
But gunz are OK.

I know! I keep thinking that. It's in his body language in this pic and it's all over his face. He didn't want to be president, the brass ring for him in all this was losing. Now he's kinda screwed. I bet Michael Moore is right that he won't last a full term and he'll defenestrate himself, either by resigning or unconsciously sabotaging himself so that he gets impeached.
And the people who say that impeachment is unlikely because both the Reps control everything, I say that there's a lot of GOP who'd like him out, too and Pence taking his place.
Yes but: he will like being sucked up to, told he is right, told he has good instincts, told his decisions are wise ones, such as the decision to let me handle this, don't worry Mr President you've got more important things to take care of and I'll just make sure you don't have to hear about this problem again!
Didn't he sort of offer the veep job to someone by saying he (Kasich?) could be in charge of foreign and domestic policy? You're right. He doesn't want to do shit.
My fever dream is that realizing he doesn't want the job, he sabatoges himself in such a way (I dunno, says he's been a Russian spy?) in the next few days that the Electorial College is obligated to swing to Hillary. But then part of me says "fuck it, let him suffer."
And the Christie implosion continues.

A Bridgegate too far?
All that shame and humiliation for nothin. Hey Christie! Go get me a Big Mac and pick up my dry cleaning while you're out
Fuck him, I hope this eats him alive
Zip, what's the meaning of the safety pin? Just curious.

I have to say, that gave me one of the first genuine belly-laughs I've had in the last few days.
That is the first picture I can recall of Trump not sitting in a gilded chair. I bet it chafes!
Trump is going to hate being President. Seriously, he doesn't actually want to do what's required.

Also, unrelated, I found this just now, which is so frickin true.

Yes, yes, yes!
I also just found |this.|
His eyes look deader than Obama's this week.
Yes but: he will like being sucked up to, told he is right, told he has good instincts, told his decisions are wise ones, such as the decision to let me handle this, don't worry Mr President you've got more important things to take care of and I'll just make sure you don't have to hear about this problem again!
Call it the Reagan Effect.
Didn't he sort of offer the veep job to someone by saying he (Kasich?) could be in charge of foreign and domestic policy? You're right. He doesn't want to do shit.
And yet he's stuck doing it. Is there a chance we avoid the worst of the possible disaster because he's just too incompetent to implement much?
reagan did it, and it pains me to say anything good about reagan, but he was a far better actor than is trump.

FWIW, a friend of mine has some infra-red relatives in Indiana, and even they can't stand Pence. Going to be some good times all around
And yet the ticket won by 19 there somehow?
Forget it, sps, it's Indiana
On the other hand, how does Pence feel about all these sloppy seconds?
