I remember one commenter on the 2008 election night thread on the front page saying "just throwing it out there, but I would bang Gwen Ifill silly". A beautiful woman in so many ways, to her core. She will be missed and well remembered.
I remember when she took over Washington Week from Ken Bode. She was always prepared and on top of the issues. I've heard her colleagues today speak of her humor and her big smile. I'm watching the tribute to her right now on PBS Newshour. Such a loss.
