Aides to Mr. Trump said he would also meet on Sunday with Ari Emanuel, the brother of Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s former White House chief of staff and the current mayor of Chicago. Ari Emanuel is a chief executive of William Morris Endeavor, a talent and media agency, and was the inspiration for a character on the HBO series “Entourage.” It was unclear whether Mr. Trump is considering Mr. Emanuel for a job in his administration.
The right hates Rahm Emanuel, and how better to get at him than through his brother? They didn't knock Christie out first, they let him watch as they got rid of each and every Christie appointee to the transition team. Revenge, cold, etc.
You think that whole Christie humiliation was planned (by young Kushner) rather than just reflexive fear of Bridgegate backwash? Hard to believe anybody on that team is so clever, or plans that far ahead. We'll see!
