This, again, seems to me to be all a classist thing. I seems far more likely that your average date-rapist is going to be a middle- or upper-class douchebag that has access to social situations where a potential victim can be groomed. Those "stranger rapes" are more likely to be crimes of opportunity perpetuated by guys that don't have the social access. So, even more disgusting when you consider he's implying a pass for rapists of a certain social class.
