We had a mode of transportation called hookie-bobbin'. Grab the bumper of a passing car or truck and "ski" on your boots. All the years we did that, nobody got hurt. Not even any urban legends. Now, cars don't even have a bumper to grab anymore. I feel sorry for kids these days.
yeah, we'd do the same in NJ if the snow was good and packed on the roads. My local neighborhood, lots of short streets and stop signs, folks never drove too fast anyway.
If you want to go to the Waffle House but you can't get Mama and dem in the truck, you improvise.
