Nah, totally sucks. They had the last concrete ashtray, so if nobody (taxpayers, investors, pokemon) decided to build anything in its place, Qualcomm Stadium was well on its way..
Honestly, RIP Junior Seau.
You weren't there for Live Aid? ; ) Shit, the Vet.. I remember one of my cousins having a bunch of batteries (not for throwing) at a Phillies doubleheader just to hear the damn broadcast, in a seat–FFS, we were THERE and we couldn't see shit.
I wish they'd stay in San Diego because a lot of people here, rightly or wrongly, have their self of steam wrapped around being "a big-league city." But because the team repeatedly and deceptively tried to use that enthusiasm to extort money from taxpayers, I say good riddance.
And the Spanos family is a big collection of rich, tasteless jerks, so I hope they enjoy sucking hind tit in Stan Kroenke's playpen.
But at least LA will have their two original teams back. (The Chargers played their first year in LA, and their owner at the time also owned Diners Club; hence the name.)
Lions and tigers and bears?

Neither of us miss Veterans Stadium, but I saw The Who there in 1985…

"Go Fuck Yourself, San Diego" is happening now, I'm sure.
I thought USC was the pro football team in LA?
Yeah, like that one in Columbus.
