Serendipitous : Have been compiling various tunes that are scattered in books, on computers, on random scraps of paper, and in my head. One of them is , of course " L'il Red Riding Hood", by Sam the Sham. [ I started playing it as a medley with "Invitation to the Blues" by Tom Waits ] So I searched to check the authorship of LRRH, and found that there was an earlier song by that name by The Big Bopper. I'm not a copyright lawyer, but I don't think the Pharoahs version is anything like the Bopper version, except in topic .
